Caesars Windsor is preparing for the "Big Game" this weekend, often identified as one of the biggest single-game betting events of the year.
The Caesars Sportsbook lounge has been officially open for just over a month.
"It's been great, a lot of people are coming in, enjoying the space. It is connected to Legends so you can come in and sit in the space, enjoy watching a game and there's sports on all the time," said Susanne Tomkins, Manager of Public Relations and Communications at Caesars Windsor.
She expects an even bigger crowd than usual this year.
"The day of the big game we usually have a lot of people on our property, it's an exciting place to be to watch the game but now that we have our Caesars Sportsbook open as well as our house sports lounge we are anticipating a lot of individuals coming in and checking it out," said Tomkins.
Wagers can be placed on anything from the first touchdown to the half-time score.
"There's multiple ways to place a bet on the big game. We have our knowledgeable and friendly staff there so for new sports betters they can come out and ask questions with our sports betting staff," said Tomkins.
Tomkins indicated all staff within the Caesars Windsor are trained to provide information about the bets available and responsible gambling.
"Our staff within the sportsbook area can give tips on wagering responsibly but also at Caesars Windsor we have a long-standing commitment to responsible gambling, it's something we take great pride in," said Tomkins.
Caesars Sportsbook is located in front of Legends Sports Bar with three betting windows and seven betting kiosks. The space features 22 big-screen TVs with state-of-the-art sound and dedicated seating.
