Opposition Leader to visit Windsor Saturday

Canada's Leader of the Official Opposition will make stops in Windsor-Essex this weekend.

Federal Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre is scheduled to visit the region on Saturday.

Poilievre is expected to hold a public meet-and-greet at the Caboto Club in Windsor. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., though it was not immediately clear how long the event will be held. Attendance is by pre-registration only.

"This is going to be another huge event as we all rally together to make all of Windsor-Essex blue," said Windsor-Tecumseh Conservative Association President Paul Borrelli.

The association also announced that Poilievre will go knocking on doors Saturday in the Windsor-Tecumseh riding.

If you'd like to attend the meet-and-greet, register by filling out the online form.
