They still need to vote on it, but 249 Greater Essex County District School Board workers have a tentative contract agreement.
CUPE Local 27 represents 249 custodians, maintenance staff, courier drivers, and others at the school board.
Its bargaining unit and school board officials reached the deal on Thursday.
The board hasn't released details, but a statement said ratification meetings would take place over the next few weeks.
"The tentative agreement was reached through a collaborative process and represents the best possible outcome for everyone," read the statement. "It provides stability and security for both the employees and the board."
