Windsor police say a woman wanted in a violent downtown assault has been arrested.
The Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit on Monday afternoon arrested Jesseca St. Louis on Pillette Road near Metcalfe Street.
St. Louis was one of two people still being sought by Windsor police in a home invasion on February 6, during which a 42-year-old man was beaten with a metal object. The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police are still looking for 52-year-old William James Deans. He is described as White, approximately 5’10”, with a medium build, blue eyes, and greyish hair. Deans is wanted on charges of aggravated assault with an offensive weapon, two counts of robbery, uttering death threats, and failure to comply with a release order.
Investigators have since located, arrested and laid charges against the other three accused, 28-year-old Teanna Logan, 35-year-old Matthew Reis and 45-year-old Dion Shaw.
