Tecumseh and Essex launch resident surveys

Two local municipalities want resident feedback to help shape future strategic plans.

Both the Town of Tecumseh and the Town of Essex have launched online citizen surveys.

“Gathering public feedback about our Town Services will help us plan our strategic priorities for the next year and beyond,” said Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara. “In previous years, these surveys helped us identify where we have done well and where we can do better, and we are confident that this year provides the same guidance.”

Essex is working on developing its official strategic plan for the next three years. The survey will help to determine where municipal dollars will be spent in the future.

“We need to make sure that our priorities match up to what matters the most to our residents. Your input is critical to the success of this assignment,” said Essex Mayor Sherry Bondy.

The Tecumseh survey can be found online here. Feedback is being collected until March 14. The results of the survey will be presented to Tecumseh council on March 28.

The Essex survey can be found here. Feedback is being collected until March 15.
