One hurt when vehicle crashes into building

One person suffered serious injuries when a vehicle hit a building in Tecumseh on Sunday night.

The Ontario Provincial Police, Tecumseh Fire and Rescue Services, and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services responded to a call about a vehicle fire around 9 p.m.

During the investigation, police found out the driver of a vehicle lost control on Lesperance Road at Riverside Drive East and hit a building.

The driver, the only person in the vehicle, escaped before the vehicle caught fire.

Police ask residents to check their security cameras, while drivers who witnessed it should view their dash cam video. Police would like to see any evidence about the collision.
