Windsor police are looking into an active situation at a gas station in Riverside.
Officers were called to the area of Wyandotte Street East and St. Rose Avenue shortly before 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Few details have been released, but Constable Bianca Jackson told WindsorNewsToday.ca that there were no injuries and there is no threat to public safety.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken the lead in the investigation.
Police are asking people to avoid the area until the matter is resolved.
