Suspect arrested in multiple break-ins

The Windsor Police Service has arrested and charged a suspect in a string of break-ins.

On December 11 2022, eight businesses between Walker Road and Jefferson Boulevard were broken into and had various items stolen.

On February 18, 2023, another five businesses between Wyandotte Street East and Tecumseh Road East were broken into.

By reviewing surveillance video at various sites the Target Base Unit identified a suspect.

The 32-year-old was arrested by the Problem-Oriented Policing Unit on March 11. The suspect has been charged with 13 counts of break and enter, possession of stolen property, assault, operating a vehicle while prohibited and failure to comply with probation.
