Windsor police seek man in convenience store robbery (VIDEO)

Windsor police are looking for a man who allegedly pulled a knife on a store employee Monday afternoon.

Investigators say the suspect entered the store near Tecumseh Mall around 2:45 p.m. The man stole a box of vape cartridges off a shelf and ran out of the store. When the man was confronted by the clerk, the suspect pulled out the knife and threatened the employee with it.

The employee was not hurt.

Police have tweeted the surveillance video of the man walking around the business and asked the public to give it a look.

The suspect is described as a White male, 5' 7", with a medium build and curly blonde hair.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black hoodie, grey jogging pants, white running shoes, and a black satchel over his left shoulder.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect, or may have witnessed what happened, is asked to call Windsor police's Major Crime Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
