Windsor police seek suspect in Monday break-and-enter

Investigators are hoping the public can provide tips on the identity of a man seen breaking into a Windsor business.

Windsor police say the incident took place around 11 a.m. Monday on Tecumseh Road West near Church Street. The suspect allegedly broke into the business and stole an EGO leaf blower and DeWalt power tools before fleeing.

An image of the suspect was captured on the business' security camera, and police are asking residents to take a look.

The suspect is described as a White male, about 25 to 35 years old. At the time of the incident, he wore a black jacket, a black toque, and a white Nike baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the incident or the person's identity should call the Windsor police property crime unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4350. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
