Leamington switches to Alertable for emergency alerts

The Municipality of Leamington's new Alertable system is operational.

The system is used to notify residents in the event there is severe weather, gas leaks, evacuation orders, and other issues handled by Leamington Alerts.

The alert system allows residents to receive free notifications through their mobile device, email, home phone, or other methods.

Leamington began using the Alertable method on Monday.

Residents who already have Leamington Alerts will get a welcome email, text, or phone call, depending on how they registered. No action is needed.

Residents who would like to register for the alerts should visit the Municipality's official website.
