Wilson-Raybould coming to Windsor to speak

Jody Wilson-Raybould will be the keynote speaker at the Canadian Mental Health Association's Wake Up, Speak Up speaker series Thursday.

Wilson-Raybould is a former member of the Federal Cabinet, a lawyer, an author, and a leader among the Indigenous Peoples.

“We are looking forward to a thought-provoking morning with Jody as our Wake Up, Speak Up keynote speaker. Her perspective and experiences promise to be unique and insightful, and they relate to leadership, diversity and mental health,” says Dr. Sonja Grbevski, CEO, CMHA-WECB.

Wilson-Raybould's new book True Reconciliation: How to Be a Force For Change focuses on building a stronger and healthier community.

The CMHA-Windsor Essex County Branch hosts a breakfast series on a regular basis to discuss mental health issues facing the community.

The event is at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $50 for adults and $35 for students and can be purchased by visiting, www.windsoressex.cmha.ca/events/wusu23/.
