Windsor police say a 21-year-old man has been arrested following an incident near a park Wednesday.
Members of the Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Unit arrested the man after a short foot chase through Central Park on Woodland Avenue. The officers soon recovered a firearm left nearby.
The suspect now faces a total of five charges, including possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly without a licence, possession of a loaded or restricted firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The charges have not been proven in court.
