Jann Arden to hit Caesars Windsor in August

A Canadian singer-songwriter who has graced stages worldwide for three decades will visit Windsor later this summer.

Caesars Windsor announced Monday that Juno Award-winner Jann Arden will play the Colosseum on August 25.

The Calgary native overcame a rough upbringing to record 13 studio albums and two live albums, which drew forth 16 hits that cracked the top 40 on the Canadian pop chart. The 1994 hit "Insensitive", went to number one on the Canadian pop and adult contemporary charts, reached the top in Australia, and peaked at #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.

Four other singles have gone to number one on the Canadian AC chart, "Could I Be Your Girl?", "Unloved" with Jackson Browne, "Looking For It [Finding Heaven]", and "The Sound of It".

Arden's musical accomplishments have resulted in 19 Juno nominations and eight wins, ten SOCAN Awards, four Western Canadian Music Awards, and a star on Canada's Walk of Fame. She is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, and a Member of the Order of Canada.

Arden is also a published author, having written five books. She also co-created and stars in the sitcom "Jann", where she plays a fictionalized version of herself. She was a co-winner of the 2021 Writers Guild of Canada Award for Best TV Comedy.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Caesars Windsor box office, or online through the casino's website and Ticketmaster. Caesars Rewards members are invited to a pre-sale on Wednesday.
