Suspect wanted after senior attacked in Windsor

Windsor police are asking the public for help in finding a man who allegedly assaulted a senior Tuesday afternoon.

Police said officers responded to Tecumseh Road East and Cadillac Street at around 2 p.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived, they learned that a man was approached by someone riding a bicycle. After a short conversation between the man and the cyclist, the suspect allegedly punched the victim in the head, knocking him unconscious.

Police said the suspect rode off on his bicycle and the victim was sent to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Constable Bianca Jackson said it was not known if the victim and suspect knew each other.

Surveillance camera images of the suspect have been released, and police are asking the public to take a look.

The suspect is described as a White male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’9,” with a large build. He wore black pants and a black shirt at the time of the incident.
