Funeral arrangements set for firefighter who died in LaSalle crash

Funeral arrangements for a Windsor firefighter who died in a crash in LaSalle last week are finalized.

Jamie Tesolin was behind the wheel when his vehicle crashed on Front Road at Victory Street early last Friday morning.

Tesolin graduated from the University of Windsor and held many jobs, but his role as a firefighter was his favourite.

He was involved in local sports, serving as the coach of the Chucks Roadhouse baseball team and as a referee for women's and men's hockey.

During his life, the 59-year-old championed many causes, including Goodfellows.

An obituary posted on the Family's First Funeral Home website said visitations are planned for Thursday, June 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Families First on Dougall Avenue, and Friday, June 23, starting at 1 p.m.

Following the second memorial visitation, a memorial service starts at 2 p.m.

His body will be interred at Heavenly Rest Cemetary.
