Feds appoint new Director of the Board at WDBA

The board overseeing the biggest infrastructure project in Windsor's history has a new director.

Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities Dominic LeBlanc has appointed Lindsay Kraus as the director of the board of directors at the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority.

"Ms Krauss's experience and knowledge in a wide range of infrastructure projects will be an asset to the board as it oversees the successful completion of the Gordie Howe International Bridge project," said LeBlanc.

Krauss has nearly 15 years of experience in the infrastructure and public-private partnerships industry. She's worked as a strategic consultant on projects across Canada, the U.S., and the United Kingdom. Currently, she is a principal with LK Infra Consulting.

The board of directors has nine members, with Tim Murphy as chair.

When it is complete, the Gordie Howe International Bridge will be the longest cable stay bridge in North America and the largest Canadian Port of Entry along the Canadian-U.S. border.
