The Windsor-built Chrysler Pacifica had a good second quarter.
FCA Canada said it sold 3,211 of those vehicles between April 1 and June 30, an increase of 56 per cent from the same period in 2022.
So far this year, sales are up seven per cent from last year.
"Chrysler brand sales increased for the quarter by 11 per cent on the strength of the Windsor, Ontario-made Chrysler minivans," said a release from Stellantis on Tuesday. "Chrysler Pacifica minivans totalled 3,211 sales for Q2, of which 24 per cent were the class-exclusive plug-in Hybrid model with an all-electric range of more than 50 kilometres."
Sales of the Dodge Grand Caravan slid 27 per cent. The company sold 846 vehicles compared to 1,164 in the second quarter of 2022.
Adding up both quarters, sales of that vehicle dropped 39 per cent.
The company said overall sales increased by three per cent in the second quarter. Canadian commercial fleet sales jumped 61 per cent across the vehicle portfolio compared to Q2 2022.
