LaSalle to collect branches downed in Thursday's storm starting Monday

The Town of LaSalle will provide a one-time-only roadside collection of small to medium downed branches following Thursday's storm.

The collection will begin Monday, July 24, and could take several days.

Residents are asked to bring branches to the curb or edge of the road without blocking roads, driveways, or sidewalks. The town also warns that, if on private property, it's the responsibility of residents to remove limbs too big to be brought to the curb.

Yard waste bags will not be collected and branches do not need to be bundled as town staff will be using a chipper to shred the debris.

Due to the amount of clean-up, town staff aren't sure how long they'll remain in each area. Updates will be posted on the Town’s website and social media pages, as needed.
