An Emmy Award-winning choreographer will bring a lively dance show to Windsor this fall.
Caesars Windsor announced Monday that it added Derek Hough's Symphony of Dance to the schedule of events at The Colosseum. The all-ages show will take place on Friday, October 27.
"In Symphony of Dance, Hough embarks on a new journey with high energy, choreography, stunning stage productions, astounding versatility, and of course, his magnetic stage presence," read a release from Caesars Windsor. "Fans will journey through a true fusion of dance and music, as Hough explores styles ranging from ballroom and tap to salsa, hip-hop, and everything in between."
Hough is best known for his work on the long-running ABC show "Dancing With the Stars" as a choreographer paired with a celebrity dancer. Hough appeared on the show as a choreographer from 2007 to 2016, served as a judge in 2020, and returned in 2021 as a choreographer.
He holds the record for the most victories with six. Hough has won three Primetime Emmy Awards for outstanding choreography. He's been nominated a total of 13 times, including one that is pending.
Hough currently has a Las Vegas residency with Derek Hough: No Limit at the Venetian Resort. He has also appeared as an actor and a singer, on ABC's "Nashville", NBC's 2016 "Hairspray Live!", and as Ren McCormack in the London production of the musical "Footloose".
Caesars Rewards members may take advantage of a ticket presale starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
Ticket purchases can be made through the Caesars Windsor website or Ticketmaster. The box office is open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. and on show days from noon to 10 p.m.
The show is open to all ages, but only those 19 and older may enter the casino.
