Three charged after stolen truck and drugs found

A call about a suspicious man in an Amherstburg parking lot led Windsor Police officers to a stolen truck and some illegal drugs.

The call about the man on Sandwich Street South came in on Sunday.

When the officers arrived, they spotted the truck with two men and a woman inside and realized the vehicle was reported stolen in Chatham-Kent.

They also found cocaine, crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine.

Two 27-year-olds and a 36-year-old were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance.
