Police release photo of two shooting suspects

Windsor Police are making another appeal to the public to help them find two suspects in a daytime shooting earlier this week.

Investigators released photos of the two men on Thursday in hopes someone would recognize them and call the police.

Officers found a man with several gunshot wounds on Pierre Avenue between Niagara Street and Erie Street around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old's injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

On Tuesday, police described the suspects.

The first is a white man with short dark hair. He wore a black hooded sweater with large, white lettering across the chest. He had grey pants with a black stripe halfway down each leg and white, black, and red athletic shoes.

The second suspect is also a white man with a beard. He wore a dark baseball cap with a white logo on the front, a black hooded sweater with a large Nike logo on the front and green knee-length shorts. He had a pair of white athletic shoes on.

Police urge anyone who can identify the pair or knows where they may be to call the Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leave a tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.
