Provided by the Windsor Police Service. Windsor Police arrested a suspect on Friday morning, four days after a deliberately set fire earlier this week.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, firefighters put out a small fire behind a restaurant on Howard Avenue near the E.C. Row Expressway.
Fortunately, a video surveillance camera nearby recorded the suspect in the act.
Police released photos of the suspect and a description, and thanks to tips from the public, were able to identify the man.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
