Update: Police arrest wanted Windsor man in stabbing

Police in Windsor thank the public after the quick arrest of a stabbing suspect soon after issuing an arrest warrant.

The suspect, 30-year-old Bruce Gaisson was one of five suspects wanted after a 42-year-old man was stabbed last month.

The incident was near University Avenue East and Glengarry Avenue.

Windsor police have issued a public safety warrant on Tuesday afternoon and the arrest was later that evening.

Gaisson was charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and failure to comply with a release order.
