Windsor crash claims life of motorcyclist

A 42-year-old motorcyclist is dead following a collision in Windsor on Thursday evening.

Windsor police say it happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Robinet Road. Officers were called on a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan.

Few details are available, but the motorcyclist was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police say charges may be pending.

The victim's identity has not been released.

The intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Robinet was closed while police completed their investigation. It reopened early Friday morning.
