The City of Windsor will begin a new phase of construction at an east-end park on Monday.
Contractors will be at Elizabeth Kishkon Park on Banwell Road and Little River Road to start work on an extension of the asphalt trail for the under-construction dog park, plus a concrete sidewalk by the parking lot.
This project is separate from the dog park itself, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year, weather permitting.
The asphalt portion will take about two weeks to complete.
Visitors will still be able to use the park but are asked to be mindful of the construction and stay clear of it.
The park is named after Windsor's only female mayor, who was in office from 1983 to 1985. Kishkon died in 2018.
