Windsor police are looking for a group of suspects in a robbery at a downtown place of worship.
It took place Sunday at a Buddhist temple on Goyeau Street near Tuscarora Avenue. During a service, three men forcibly entered the residential apartment in the complex and removed a safe that contained an undisclosed amount of cash.
The trio then fled in a vehicle driven by a fourth man.
The driver is described as an East Indian or Arabic male, 30 to 40 years old, 6’, with a large build and a black and grey beard. He was wearing a black surgical facemask, a plain black baseball hat, a black t-shirt with ‘HUGO’ on the front, black pants, and black and white running shoes.
The second suspect is described as an East Indian or Arabic male, 30 to 40 years old, 6', with a medium build, and a black mustache and black strapped beard along the jaw. He was wearing a yellow hat with a purple front emblem, a white undershirt, a grey windbreaker jacket with a black stripe along the chest and arms, light grey shorts, and black and white running shoes.
The third suspect is described as East Indian or Arabic, 30 to 40 years old, 5’ 8”, with a small build, dark complexion, and black beard. He was wearing a plain black hat, black leather coat, black undershirt with a white character on the front, blue jeans, and black running shoes.
The fourth and final suspect is described as an East Indian or Arabic male, 30 to 40 years old, 6’, with a large build and black beard. He was wearing a red, white, and black hat, dark blue jacket, black pants with a white emblem on the upper left thigh, and grey and white running shoes.
The alleged getaway vehicle is described as a later model Infiniti FX35 with silver rims, sunroof, and a roof rack.
Security camera images and a video of all four suspects have been released, and the public is asked to take a look.
