Carrousel of the Nations comes away with top award

When it comes to the best festivals and events in Ontario, Windsor's Carrousel of the Nations is tops.

It was voted the best festival and event at this year's Attractions Ontario's Ontario Choice Awards.

The winners in each category earned the most votes, and the awards were handed out on Monday.

Other winners included Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls for Top Family Entertainment Centre, Casa Loma in Toronto for Top Museum/Art Gallery/Historic Site, and Little Canada in Toronto for Top Indoor Attraction.

Little Canada, Riverview Park and Zoo in Peterborough, and Blue Heron Cruises in Tobermory will compete for the Attraction of the Year Award, which will be handed out next month at the Ontario Tourism Summit Awards Gala.

Attractions Ontario is a non-profit association that promotes attendance at its member attractions.
