Lakeshore to host public session on Stoney Point Community Park

The Municipality of Lakeshore hopes residents in Stoney Point/Pointe-aux-Roches will make it out to a public meeting on Tuesday about the future of Stoney Point Community Park.

Municipal officials are ready to present two draft concept plans and need the public's feedback.

"Your feedback is important to us as a council, and we want our parks and public spaces to reflect the community's needs," said Mayor Tracey Bailey.

The public will see information boards featuring each concept plan at the Stoney Point Community Park Pavilion between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

There won't be a formal presentation, but Lakeshore staff and consultants will be there to answer questions.

The municipality will also post the concept plans on its website on Tuesday and accept community input until October 6.

If it rains on Tuesday, the session will be on Thursday.
