Windsor man arrested on child pornography charges

A man has been charged following a lengthy investigation by Windsor police into child pornography.

Members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit received a complaint in May about someone allegedly uploading child pornography.

Police obtained a search warrant for a home on Westminster Boulevard near Lassaline Avenue and executed it on Thursday. Investigators confiscated multiple electronic devices, including computers, cell phones, and hard drives.

Robert Allen Bourque, 39, of Windsor, is charged with two counts each of accessing and making available child pornography, plus three counts of distributing it.

The charges have not been proven in court.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4896. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
