EPIC Harvest Festival coming to Kingsville

Windsor-Essex wineries will be front and centre at a new festival coming later this fall.

Pelee Island Winery is teaming up with Tourism Windsor-Essex Pelee Island (TWEPI), EPIC Wineries, and Scotiabank to present the first annual EPIC Wineries Harvest Festival, set for November 4 at their Kingsville winery.

"We are excited to share this celebration of our team’s hard work during this year’s successful harvest with the public," said Pelee Island Winery Managing Director Annemarie Heikenwalder. "Pelee Island Winery grows and produces some of the finest wines in the country and is proud to be a part of EPIC wine country, a region which is filled with the passion of winemaking."

The festival will include tastings of wine from various Windsor-Essex wineries. An assortment of food trucks will provide samplings of their items to complement the wine offerings.

The event will also feature an artisan market, live entertainment, and a kids' area.

The EPIC Wineries Harvest Festival is from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 and $10 for children and designated drivers. They can be purchased online.
