Do you have an issue you want to raise with your city councillor?
The City of Windsor invites residents to meet their city councillors at upcoming ward meetings.
Each city councillor is hosting a meeting in their ward, starting with Ward 8 on October 10 and ending on November 30 with Ward 9.
City administrators will be at the meetings to take your questions, including those in the finance department who will explain the city's budget-balancing simulator, tax receipt generator and budget priority tools.
"These tools help keep the community informed and educated on where their property taxes are being spent, and they provide an excellent opportunity for residents to let us know what their spending priorities are," said a release from the City of Windsor.
The city holds ward meetings annually to get feedback from residents and promote an exchange of ideas between city staff and the people they serve.
Each ward meeting is as follows:
Tuesday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 8 with Gary Kaschak at the Topola Hall at the Serbian Centre on Tecumseh Road East.
Wednesday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 4 with Mark McKenzie at the Galileo Hall at the Caboto Club on Parent Avenue at Tecumseh Road East
Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 5 with Ed Sleiman at the Constable John Atkinson Memorial Community Centre on Alice Street.
Wednesday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 10 with Jim Morrison at the Windsor Hall at the Fogolar Furlan Club on North Service Road East.
Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 7 with Angelo Marignani at the auditorium at Forest Glade Arena on Forest Glade Drive.
Wednesday, November 8 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 1 with Fred Francis at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex on Pulford Street.
Wednesday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 3 with Renaldo Agostino at the Scott Hall at All Saints' Anglican Church at City Hall Square West.
Wednesday, November 22 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 6 with Jo-Anne Gignac at the reception hall at the WFCU Centre on McHugh Street.
Tuesday, November 28 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 2 with Fabio Costante at MacKenzie Hall Cultural Centre on Sandwich Street.
Thursday, November 30 at 6:30 p.m. - Ward 9 with Kieran McKenzie at Roseland Trinity United Church on Howard Avenue.
