Caesars Windsor has set the date for another long-running Windsor holiday tradition.
The S'Aints will hit the Colosseum stage on Friday, December 22, for another edition of the "Sleighing Hunger" concert. The all-ages show will be presented in partnership with Caesars Windsor Cares and St. Clair College.
The group performs holiday favourites with a rock edge, and this time will perform songs from their album "Epic Christmas". The S'Aints will be joined by the Windsor Youth Optimist Band and the choir The Sinners.
"The success of this concert is truly a community effort," said band member Jeff Burrows. "For every seat we fill in The Colosseum, we know it means more people are being fed, and shelves are being filled. This is a collective effort and one that is very close to our hearts."
All of the proceeds from the show will support the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association and the Chatham Outreach for Hunger.
Tickets to the "Sleighing Hunger" concert go on sale for Caesars Rewards members at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The general public can get their tickets starting at 10 a.m. Friday online at the Caesars website or Ticketmaster. The box office is open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. and on show days from noon to 10 p.m.
An acoustic "sneak preview" will be presented on Friday, December 1, at the UHC Hub of Opportunities in Windsor.
