A beer variety created in Windsor has been named the best of its kind for the second year in a row.
Walkerville Brewery's Imperial Stout has won the gold medal for its style at the 2023 Canada Beer Cup. The brewery defended its 2022 gold medal in the same style.
"We’re truly thrilled to have won Gold for our Imperial Stout for the second year in a row at the Canada Beer Cup," said Walkerville Brewery's Ian Gourlay. "We’re very proud of our team of brewers who continue to brew nationally recognized beers."
The Canada Beer Cup attracts hundreds of beers that compete in 67 modernized beer styles in 11 categories.
