A mainstay of the Las Vegas Strip is bringing his bag of tricks to Caesars Windsor.
The gaming and entertainment complex announced Monday that magician Lance Burton will play the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor on January 18, in an all-ages show. "Lance Burton Master Magician and Friends" will feature guest stars, illusions, sleight-of-hand, and audience participation.
Burton's magic act was first introduced to audiences in 1981 during an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", where he performed a 12-minute routine. He began his first Las Vegas show in 1991 at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino. When it closed in 1996, Burton moved to the Monte Carlo Hotel, performing in the first Las Vegas theater built and named specifically for a performer. That show ended in 2010
He has performed over 15,000 shows, mostly in Las Vegas.
Burton has also appeared on specials for NBC, The History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, and The Family Channel.
Tickets for Burton's Windsor performance go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday for Caesars Rewards members, and to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.
The show is open to all ages, but you must be 19 or older to enter the casino.
