Santa Claus is leaving the elves in the workshop this weekend, arriving at Devonshire Mall on Sunday.
As he has for many years, Santa arrives in a helicopter in the parking lot at 11 a.m.
This year, he'll be joined by the Windsor Optimist Youth Band and firefighters from the Windsor Fire and Rescue Services.
Once he arrives, he'll settle in at his home in the mall, Santa's Winter Woodland, in the Centre Court in front of Hudson's Bay.
On Sunday, children can visit without a reservation.
After Sunday, reservations are not required but recommended, and parents can reserve a time to visit at Devonshire Mall's website.
Those who reserve a time will get a phone call from Santa before the visit.
At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Santa will read his favourite Christmas stories during "Story Time With Santa."
If you can't make it on Tuesday, story time is also at 3 p.m. on November 21 and 28 and 11 a.m. on December 5 and 12.
Pets are welcome on Saturday, November 18, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., although pet parents should enter the mall at the TD Canada Trust entrance.
Children with sensory challenges can visit on Sunday, December 3, between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Find out when Santa will be at Devonshire Mall on the mall's website, and remember he has to feed his reindeer between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve. They get hungry.
Santa will be pulling double duty again this year with appearances at Tecumseh Mall.
How? He's magical.
He'll arrive at Tecumseh Mall on November 24 for a Magical Evening. Pet Photo Night is November 27, and Sensory-Friendly Santa is December 3.
