Rock legend to celebrate milestone with Caesars Windsor stop

Caesars Windsor has been added to a tour celebrating a rock legend's 60th year in the business.

British rock musician Peter Frampton will play the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor on March 15, 2024, as part of his "Never Ever Say Never" tour, which includes a variety of North American dates throughout 2024.

A high school classmate of David Bowie, Frampton, 73, played in his first band at 12 years old. In 1969, he fronted the group Humble Pie while playing as a studio musician for other artists. Frampton went solo after four studio albums and one live album.

His 1972 album "Winds of Change" marked his solo debut. Despite featuring Ringo Starr and Billy Preston, the album was only minimally successful. His 1975 live album "Frampton Comes Alive!", sent ten weeks atop the Billboard 200 album chart. The singles "Baby, I Love Your Way", "Show Me the Way", and "Do You Feel Like We Do", all appeared on the U.S. pop chart. The album won Frampton a Juno Award in 1977.

Frampton has continued to tour and record since then but hasn't matched the commercial success of his early records. His 2007 album "Fingerprints" won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album. His most recent album, 2019's "All Blues", topped Billboard's Blues Albums chart.

Tickets for Frampton's Caesars Windsor stop go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday for Caesars Rewards members, and the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.

Purchases can be made through the Caesars Windsor website or at Ticketmaster. The Caesars box office is open Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m., and on show days from noon to 10 p.m.
