OPP lay attempted murder charges in stabbing

The Ontario Provincial Police have a 44-year-old Leamington man in custody after a stabbing on Friday night.

The OPP got a call about weapons at an address on Erie Street South, and when they arrived, they found a man with what appeared to be stab wounds.

Officers arrested the suspect at the scene.

They've charged Chad Lindsay Thomas with attempted murder and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

The charges have not been proven in court.

Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
