LaSalle police foundation donates to Safety Village of Windsor

The Safety Village of Windsor has received a boost for its campaign to upgrade its Safe Kids classrooms.

The LaSalle Police Youth Foundation has donated $2,500, to enhance lighting in the rooms used by various first-responder agencies for specialized training. The Safety Village had set a $5,000 goal.

"This collaboration reflects the long-standing partnership between the LaSalle Police Service and The Safety Village, emphasizing their commitment to educating the children of Windsor and Essex County on safety matters," said LaSalle Police Senior Constable Terry Seguin.

The foundation's donation was raised through various fundraising drives this past year.
