Five people sought in Windsor home invasion

Windsor police are looking for a group of people connected to a weekend break-and-enter.

Officers responded shortly after midnight Saturday to a home on Southdale Drive off South Pacific Avenue in the Remington Park area. When they arrived, the officers learned that three masked people forced their way into the home.

The resident arrived home while the suspects were still inside. When they approached the front door, the suspects walked out while armed and then fled down Southdale Drive.

No one was physically hurt.

The first suspect is described as a male wearing dark clothing.

The second is a male wearing a jacket, blue jeans, and a turquoise face mask.

The third is a male wearing a tan jacket and black ski mask.

A fourth and fifth suspect of unknown description were in the getaway vehicle.

Police have asked homeowners in the area to check their dashcam and security camera footage and give them a call if anything unusual is found at around midnight Friday night and Saturday morning.

Anyone with information should call Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
