LaSalle Police launch rules of the road contest to test your knowledge

How well do you know the rules of the road?

The LaSalle Police Service is launching a new contest to foster a safer and more informed community.

"Our goal is to help educate all drivers on the rules of the road to help create a safer and more secure environment for all residents and motorists," read a release. "After the contest, the LaSalle Police Service will publish the overall percentage of correct and incorrect responses."

Residents can answer a survey online containing ten multiple-choice and true or false questions.

Participants will automatically be entered in a draw for a LaSalle Police thermal tumbler and thermos combo.

After the contest, police say they'll delete all personal information submitted by participants to protect their privacy.

"We want to assure you that any personal information collected during the contest will be used solely to select the contest winner. No personal information will be retained or used for any other purpose," it said.

The contest ends on January 31.
