Windsor Police capture break-and-enter suspect on property

A 29-year-old Windsor man faces a criminal charge after Windsor Police foiled a break-and-enter in progress.

They were alerted to the break-in at a business on Kennedy Drive West when the alarm in the building went off at 2 a.m. on Thursday.

When officers arrived, they spotted a man running from the property.

The suspect was taken into custody, and officers found several stolen items including clothing and alcohol.

The break-in is still under investigation, so police ask anyone with information to call 519-255-6700 ext. 4000, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leave a tip online at www.catchcrooks.com.

The suspect is charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
