A legendary singer and songwriter will work his way back to Caesars Windsor this spring.
Ottawa-born Paul Anka will again take the Colosseum stage on May 24, as part of his Seven Decades Tour.
Since his career began in the late 1950s, Anka's songs have been performed 100 million times worldwide. Among his better-known hits are "Diana", "Put Your Head on My Shoulder", "Lonely Boy", and "Times of Your Life".
Anka also wrote the theme to the long-running late-night show "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson", the English-language lyrics to "My Way", and co-wrote "This is It" with the late Michael Jackson.
He has written over 900 songs, and his recordings have sold over 90 million copies worldwide.
Anka's two most recent albums, "Making Memories" and "Sessions", feature new songs plus modern takes on some of his classics.
Tickets for the May 24 concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday for Caesars Rewards members and the general public at 10 a.m. Friday.
The show is for ages 19 and older.
Tickets can be purchased on the official Caesars Windsor website and Ticketmaster. The Caesars Windsor box office is open Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and on show days from noon to 10 p.m.
