Windsor Fire and Rescue was called around 1 p.m. to a restaurant on University Avenue East off Ouellette Avenue.
When they arrived, they found a significant fire on the roof of the business.
The fire was soon brought under control and declared out around 3 p.m.
The building was then turned over to the owner.
