Teen arrested after group assault

Windsor police have made an arrest after a teen was assaulted at the bus depot on Howard Avenue Saturday night.

Police were called to the scene of the assault around 8 p.m. They learned a 16-year-old was confronted while waiting for the bus. He was chased and attacked by a large group of teenagers. The group punched and kicked the victim before taking off.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The assault was captured on video and shared on social media.

The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit has arrested a 14-year-old in connection to the assault and is working to identify several other suspects.
