The Windsor Essex County Health Unit says progress continues in getting students with incomplete immunization records back to class.
As of Thursday morning, the health unit reported that 102 K-8 students are still suspended from school.
Last week, there were 257 elementary school students still on suspension for up to 20 days because their immunization records weren't up to date.
The health unit has continued to state that it is ready to help students and parents update their records.
"Parents with students remaining on the suspension list can speak to a public health nurse directly by calling the WECHU at (519) 258-2146, ext. 1222," read the notice from the health unit. "Public health nurses can answer questions and help you to get your child’s immunization record up to date."
Records can be updated online at the health unit's official website. Residents without certain required immunizations can also take advantage of free walk-in clinics at the Windsor and Leamington offices.
If your child's vaccinations are up to date but not their records, call your primary care provider or the health unit.
