OPP warn drivers be careful after collision involving wild turkey

A truck driver travelling on Hwy. 3 had likely the surprise of his life when a wild turkey came crashing into his windshield.

The truck was travelling near Inman Sideroad in Kingsville during Tuesday night's freak encounter.

Photos released by the Ontario Provincial Police show how the impact smashed the truck's windshield.

Fortunately, the driver wasn't hurt, but more surprisingly, the OPP said the turkey wasn't injured either.

Police remind drivers to always pay attention to the road and have full control of their vehicles.
