A significant presence of police was in the Olde Walkerville area after a threat was reported Friday afternoon.
Few details are available, but Windsor police were called shortly before 1 p.m. to Walkerville Collegiate Institute.
GECDSB spokesman Scott Scantlebury confirmed to WindsorNewsToday.ca that a threat had been received.
"Windsor Police Services was called," said Scantlebury. "They determined it to be of low credibility, but as a precaution, will remain at the school until dismissal."
