Stunt driving charges laid after collision

A 21-year-old man is facing charges of stunt driving after a collision at a commercial property last weekend.

Windsor police were called to a parking lot on Wheelton Drive around midnight Saturday. When they arrived they saw a lot of vehicles leaving the area. A BMW with extensive front-end damage was parked nearby.

Officers obtained video footage of the crash that showed an Audi colliding with a BMW at a high rate of speed.

Officers spoke to the Audi's driver on the phone and he was ordered to return to the scene. The driver complied and was arrested upon arrival.

Investigators are still trying to identify the BMW driver. Anyone with information is asked to call the Windsor Police Traffic Enforcement Unit at 519-945-9645 x 225.
