Visitors to two popular parks in the City of Windsor will notice some work beginning within the next few weeks.
Improvements are coming to Assumption North Park and Fontainebleau Park, according to a release Monday by the City's parks department.
New waterfront lighting will be installed at Assumption North, beginning on Monday, May 6. The work will take place along the riverwalk and last about ten weeks.
All park amenities will be open during construction.
At Fontainebleau, work has begun on a new shelter, tables, and concrete pad. This work is set to be completed by the end of May, weather permitting.
In the meantime, access to the splash pad and playground may be limited, but the sports courts will be open.
The public's patience with the work at both locations is greatly appreciated.
